We analyse the structural behaviour of historic masonry buildings and design and calculate the corrective measures when required.

Structural Reports

Masonry structures are different than modern structures. Their understanding requires a specific theory and an appropriate training. We have experience in the application of the theory of masonry structures in both academic and practical contexts.

The starting point of our analysis is our own geometric description of the structure. We measure and draw the leaning of walls, pillars and buttresses, and the distortions of arches and vaults. We analyse the state of the structure under the theoretical frame of Limit Analysis of Masonry Structures, asses its safety, and design the corrective measures if needed.
